The doctors rushed Ishi to the operating room as quick as they could with the nurse following. The doctor put on his stethoscope and checked Ishis chest.

Ishi stepped through the light. He found himself in a small space. He moved his arms forward, where they hit a wall. He noticed that it felt wooden; strong, but worn.
He took a deep breath. Then he began to bang his limbs against the wood. The wood easily broke apart, letting the dirt behind it collapse into the small space. Ishi dug his way past the dirt, keeping his steady pace and direction.
